Stamford Cradle to Career Partner Convening: One Mission, Many Hands

We are excited to invite you to the Stamford Cradle to Career Partner Convening on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025. This event will take place at Synchrony, 777 Long Ridge Rd from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Our theme, “One Mission, Many Hands,” reflects our collective effort to support and uplift our community. The convening will feature engaging breakout sessions designed to provide valuable tools and insights:

• Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself: This engaging workshop is designed for those who continuously give to others but may overlook their own well-being. Together, we’ll explore intentional strategies that promote personal health while creating a thriving, sustainable organizational culture. Participants will leave with practical tools to stay energized, balanced, and effective in the ever-changing nonprofit landscape—without losing themselves in the process.
• Navigating The Now: This interactive workshop equips educators, service providers, and advocates with tools to educate and advocate for Stamford’s students and families. We’ll discuss Stamford’s current civic efforts, identify opportunities for deeper engagement, and explore how to navigate policy issues as individuals and organizations. In this shifting political landscape, let’s align efforts, amplify voices, and strategize for meaningful impact.
• Data Sharing… From Drowsy to Dazzling: Data doesn’t have to be a drag. Join our workshop to get tips and tricks on how to make your data dance, dazzle, and do more to communicate the work you do! This will be an interactive session, so we ask participants to bring an example of data they’ve seen communicated effectively and, if they want, an example of data they’d like help communicating more effectively. Bring your burning questions about Excel, charts, and communication methods, and we’ll discuss!
