College and Career Readiness Manager

The College and Career Readiness Manager will play an integral role on the Stamford Cradle to Career (SC2C) backbone team. They will co-facilitate the Transition to Postsecondary, College, and Career Community Action Network (CAN), a group of about 20 members that meets monthly to discuss, share, and guide SC2C’s college and career readiness work. They will also lead and manage the CAN’s signature initiatives:

  • Youth Leadership Internship – a year-long internship for high school students;
  • Bridge to College – summer program helping students enroll in college post high school graduation; and
  • Skill Building for Success – resources to help students gain the non-academic essential skills necessary for success in college and career.

SC2C is dedicated to eliminating racial inequality in education and creating opportunities for children and youth to succeed. All staff must possess an ability to work with multicultural communities.

Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator will provide direct support to the Stamford Cradle to Career (SC2C) President, Vice President, and the full SC2C staff while managing day-to-day office operations of the Stamford officeMust be highly self-motivated, professional, and organized with experience in similar roles.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional references. 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; this includes an ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and in a timely manner with a broad spectrum of individuals including but not limited to parents, community members, executives, funders. 
  • Multi-lingual (English and Spanish, Ukrainian or Haitian Creole) strongly preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams) and Google Suite. Experience with Zoom preferred.
