What We Do
Stamford Cradle to Career (SC2C) works to ensure that ALL Stamford children succeed in education, career, and life. We strive for equity and excellence for every child, from cradle to career. Stamford Cradle to Career is a community-wide partnership with more than 60 active members, aligning resources to measurably improve the lives of Stamford children. We are a member of the StriveTogether national non-profit network of nearly 70 communities that have adopted the collective impact model.
For the 2020-2021 year, SC2C facilitated:
- 53collaborative meetings
- 170members attending at least one meeting
- 70+hours of collaborative team meetings

How It Works
SC2C is working collaboratively with Stamford Public Schools, nonprofits, local colleges and universities, the City of Stamford, civic organizations, business owners, community members, parents and youth to effectively identify existing programs that have proven positive outcomes while simultaneously piloting new programs to address the need at hand.
The Stamford Cradle to Career partnership has identified several key outcome areas to convene Community Action Networks (CANs) for intense focus with the goal of improvement:
