We are looking forward to having you join our Bridge to College workshops this year! We have a lot of great presenters and topics for you to engage in. Getting the knowledge and skills you need to transition to the next phase of your education can help you feel more confident and more prepared.

Financial Literacy Part 1: How to Manage Your Financial Aid – Tuesday, July 11, 5PM

Is the financial aid process overwhelming? Did you know that you have to apply for financial aid every year? Please join us in this important workshop on managing and understanding your college financial aid package!

NCC Transfer Pathways Info Session – Thursday, July 13, 5PM

You will learn about the many resources and financial support that NCC offers when you get ready to transfer out. As a first-year student, it is important to know what lies ahead so you can plan your time at NCC effectively.

Freshman 15 – Tuesday, July 18, 5PM

You will learn and understand how to get the support system to help you navigate your first year in college. This is what you need to know for a successful first year.

Adulting – Thursday, July 20, 5PM

In this workshop, you will learn about the things you should keep in mind and think about as you enter adulthood, including civic engagement.

Financial Literacy PART 2: Personal Finances – Tuesday, July 25, 5PM

You will learn many strategies on how to become more financially responsible, including budgeting and the importance of how to use credit cards.

Developing Your Professional Identity – Thursday, July 27th, 5PM

In this workshop, we will dive into the components of your professional identity and its importance when trying to successfully navigate yourself through college, internships, and future endeavors.

You’re grounded! – Tuesday, August 1, 5PM

In this workshop, we will explore the true meaning of being grounded.  Uncovering your innate abilities of pausing and resetting during transition.
