Event Designer Extraordinaire
Katsia Augustin, lovingly referred to as Kay, is the chief inspirer and founder of Signature Event Design (SED). She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the University of Bridgeport (UB).

Upon graduating from UB, she worked for architectural firms in Stamford, CT, creating 3D renderings of homes. In 2008, Kay had her “ah ha” moment when helping one of her close friends plan her wedding. Realizing she had a knack for planning, and eye for color and design, she pursued an internship with The Loading Dock, one of Stamford’s premiere event venues. It was there she was introduced to extravagant events and knew she was right at home. In the summer of 2010, SED was born, and the rest is history.
