Managing Disagreements & Disputes
Research shows that when families and school staff work
together, student outcomes improve. Despite everyone’s best
efforts, sometimes disagreements or disputes may occur between
families and members of a student’s planning and placement team
(PPT).
Join us via ZOOM as Leona Adamczyk from the Connecticut Parent
Advocacy Center, Inc. (CPAC) shares strategies for managing
disagreements or disputes between family and school. CPAC is a
statewide nonprofit organization that offers information and support
to families of children with any disability or chronic illness.
Members of the SPS Special Education Department will also be
available to answer your questions.
