Join Us at the 2026 Stamford Early Childhood Fair!

Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Mill River Park, Carousel Lawn

FREE EVENT | Rain Date: May 16th

Spring is here, and we are excited to welcome families back to one of our favorite community events of the year. The 2026 Stamford Early Childhood Fair returns to Mill River Park on Saturday, May 2 with a full morning of free activities, family-friendly fun, and easy access to the resources Stamford families rely on.

What to Expect

The Carousel Lawn at Mill River Park will once again transform into a lively hub of activity featuring:

  • Arts and Crafts stations where little ones can explore their creativity
  • Face Painting that turns smiles into masterpieces
  • Story Time sessions to spark imagination
  • Games designed to encourage learning through play
  • Bubble Activities that delight children of every age

More Than a Morning of Fun

Beyond the activities, the Childhood Fair plays an important role in connecting families to resources. Parents and caregivers will have the chance to meet representatives from preschool programs and family home childcare providers throughout Stamford. Local health, education, and social service organizations will also be on hand, ready to share information that supports your family’s journey.

Whether you are looking for a preschool, exploring early literacy supports, or simply discovering what is available across the city, the fair is a great way to learn what your community has to offer in one welcoming space.

A Community Event for Everyone

This event is brought to you in partnership with Stamford Cradle to Career, United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut, and Stamford’s Early Childhood Collaborative. The fair is free and open to all families.

In the case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, May 16th.

Mark your calendars and bring the whole family. We can’t wait to see you there!

Event flyers are available in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Ukrainian. Please share with families in your network.
