Meet our Interns

We would like to welcome our 2022 SC2C interns! An educational opportunity that Stamford Cradle to Career is proud to provide is our internship program. Through it, students gain experience that will assist them in the future.

The interns for this year are Cheray, Dory, Jeremy, Jonathan, and Joshua.

Cheray, 11th Grade at Westhill High School – My name is Cheray, I’m 16, currently a junior at Westhill High School, and I have the secretary role! One thing that I’m very interested in is racial equality, so much so, that in the future I hope to become a civil rights attorney to prevent racial injustice. I’m also an older sister with 4 younger siblings and would like to attend a HBCU when going off to college!

Dory, 9th Grade at Stamford High School – Hi I’m Dory. I am a freshman in Stamford high school. I am in the vibes curator position. I love to paint, play and listen music.

Jeremy, 11th Grade at Stamford High School – Hi I’m Jeremy, the new Youth Liaison for the Stamford Cradle to Career Youth Leadership Internship Program, and I hope to aid in promoting positive change within our community with my primary initiative being to further education about the secondary to postsecondary transition for those in need, particularly for 1st Generation students seeking higher education!

Jonathan, 9th Grade at Westhill High School – My name is Jonathan, I am a freshman at Westhill High School.  I have the role of researcher as an intern working for SC2C. I love playing sports, for Westhill I have played football, ran track, and I am currently playing for the lacrosse team. Some hobbies I have are lifting weights, playing video games, and investing in the stock market and learning more about it through research.

Josh, 9th Grade at Stamford High School – My name is Joshua, and I have the Marketing and Communications role for Stamford Cradle to Career Youth Leadership Internship Program.  I am currently attending Stamford high as a Freshman. As an individual I like to see how I can captivate and innovate in an artistic sense while making content accessible and concise.  I believe in the power of a team and the importance of giving everyone equal opportunities, especially in the field of education.  We, the people are the driving force behind change and I am so proud to be part of that.
